4 Year Old Kindergarten Programs

Our 4 Year Old Programs are funded by the Department of Education and Training (DET) and delivered by Qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Department of Education and Training (DET) provides funding to support children (who turn 4 before 30^th April) to attend Kindergarten in the year before they start school.

Kindergarten provides a safe and supportive Education Program for children to explore their capacity for learning through play based activities. Kindergarten is a place where children can belong, be and become!

•        Children have a strong sense of well being,

•        Children are confident and involved learners

•        Children are effective communicators

Our Kindergarten Services adapt to meet individual communities requirements, established by the numbers of 3 - 4 year old children enrolled at each venue.

3 Year Old Kindergarten Programs

All 3 Year Old Programs are unfunded by the Victorian Government. Community Early-years Childcare (CEYC) will provide a 3 Year Old fee for service program if sufficient number of enrolments are received.  This program can be delivered as a stand alone session (if sufficient number of children are enrolled) or as a combined group with a 4 year old program.  Children are eligible to enrol if they turn 3 before 30^th April, but must have had their birthday to attend.
