South Street Children's Service is an accredited long day care service that is located at the corner of South Street and High Street, connected to the Albury Wodonga Community College. There is carparking available off Church Street in the AWCC Carpark however, the entrance to the South Street Centre is only via the South Street entrance.
We are licenced for 46 children ranging from birth to five years of age. Our childcare centre is organised into two rooms, each having qualified staff and assistants as required to meet the Victorian State Regulations and the National Quality Standards.
Our service caters for a diverse range of the population from Wodonga and local surrounding communities.
The families that use our services are from the student body connected to the AWCC, working families from the local surrounding community, and families that are seeking respite care. The service prides it's self on the ability to provide programs that meet the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and children with special needs.
Our dedicated professional team of staff aim to achieve excellence in their roles as educators, early childhood professionals and carers, who are great ambassadors for our service. C.E.Y.C is a progressive and supportive service, offering training days ensuring our staff have the knowledge, skills and experience to enhance our service provision, and to support and maintain the best practice, procedures and quality systems they can.
