Welcome to Community Early-years Childcare – Mobile Children Services.
Community Early-years Childcare is an innovative project that aims to provide quality children’s services to meet the needs of rural communities and families.
Community Early-years Childcare is sponsored by the Albury Wodonga Community College Limited and funded by the Federal Government through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). Community Early-years Childcare is licensed and supported by the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) & the New South Wales Department of Community Services (DOCS).
Community Early-years Childcare is based in Wodonga and our staff travel out to rural communities. We provide centre based care and mobile children’s services within Albury-Wodonga and to communities across the North East region of Victoria and the Riverina Murray region of New South Wales.
Our mobile services are proudly offered at:
Henty, Mangoplah, Oaklands, Walla Walla, Woomargama, Dederang, Kergunyah, Mitta Mia, Talgarno, Walwa and Tallangatta Valley.
Our team of early childhood professionals at each venue include qualified team leaders and assistants who are experiences or studying in the field of Early Childhood. Since 2010, our focus has been on the National Early Years Framework and Victorian Early Years Development Framework. We aim to develop our current practices to reflect the learning and education outcome of both of these frameworks.

Bookings are essential to enable us to roster the required staff to child ratio, and to program properly. Bookings are only taken one week in advance, and should be completed at least two day prior to the session the child is to attend. Bookings can be made at the venue on the day of operation or by phoning the office at any time on the number provided. If the office is unattended please leave a message on the machine with the following: Child's name, venue they will be attending and a return contact name and phone number.
Community Early-Years Childcare staff plan and provide an age/stage care and education program. Our programs reflect children's interests, strengths, needs and educate children through play. We offer a variety of daily living and educational learning experiences for children. These experiences can be messy, wet, noisy or quiet. Some activities will be designed for the individual child while others are planned for small groups of children or the large group environment. Your child may not have something to take home but have been busy playing and learning all day through activities such as playdough, blocks, home corner, puzzles cooking, sand and water play and much more.
We encourage you to discuss you child's development and the daily program with the Team Leader.
