TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
This qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. Achievement of this qualification or an equivalent by trainers and assessors is a requirement of the Australian Quality Framework Essential Standards for Registration (Standard 1). This qualification, or the skill sets derived from the units of competency within it, is also suitable preparation for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in a workplace context, as component of a structured VET program there are 7 core units and 3 elective units.
The units in the Training and Education Training Package (TAE10) are designed to be practised and assessed in the workplace. Workplace application is desirable to ensure that competence to the standard required by this industry sector has been attained.

TAA50104 Diploma of Training and Assessment
This certificate specifies the competencies required to engage in advanced Training and Assessment practice which may also include competence on one or more of the following areas: development of training products, provision of training advisory and consultancy services, e-learning, and leadership and co-ordination of training and assessment services. The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is a pre-requisite for this course.
